Hamdi serves as the Managing Partner of Batavia Advocatorum, bringing over 14 years of specialized experience in high-stakes commercial transactions. He is widely recognized for his expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets, and Foreign Investment.
Prior to founding B.Av, Hamdi honed his craft as a corporate lawyer at HHP Law Firm (Baker & McKenzie), Indonesia’s premier law firm. He also served as a Commissioner at a multinational shipping company, giving him a unique perspective that bridges legal theory with boardroom reality.
Hamdi is an OJK-Registered Capital Market Legal Consultant and a licensed Advocate (PERADI). His leadership has been acknowledged globally; he was named one of the 'TOP 50 Indonesia’s Future Legal Leaders' by Asia Business Law Journal. He holds a Master of Law (LL.M) with Merit from the University of Lancaster, UK.
Represented PT Katalis Sinergi Indonesia on the construction of the first national red & white catalyst factories in Indonesia.
Led a IDR 2.9 Trillion merger for PT Indosiar Karya Media Tbk with PT Surya Citra Mandiri Tbk through the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
Assisted an airport services regional state-owned company in a merger worth IDR 1.9 Trillion with an aerocity real estate management company.
Represented a Canadian group of companies in the acquisition of 7 gold mining companies in Aceh valued at IDR 650 Billion.
Assisted PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk in the issuance of Asset-Backed Securities (KIK-EBA) valued at IDR 1 Trillion.
Represented a multinational serviced apartment company in acquiring 216 strata titles in Jakarta valued at IDR 675 Billion.
