Before joining B.Av, Towy practiced at two of Indonesia’s top-tier law firms: Assegaf Hamzah & Partners and Makarim & Taira S. His practice goes beyond litigation; he provides strategic advice to minimize risks related to land and employment matters.
Towy has been named as one of the 'TOP 50 Indonesia’s Future Legal Leaders' by Asia Business Law Journal. He holds both his Bachelor’s (Cum Laude) and Master’s (Cum Laude) degrees from Universitas Padjadjaran and Universitas Indonesia, respectively.
Assisted PT Frisian Flag Indonesia on the construction of its new factory (25.4 hectares) in Cikarang worth IDR 3.8 Trillion.
Managed the acquisition of approx. 70 hectares of land (from 280 plots) for the Tanjung Jati B Power Plants (2 x 1,000 MW) expansion.
Successfully proposed the inclusion of Power Plants as certifiable premises within the seashore area (Sempadan Pantai) to the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs.
Successfully represented PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia in pursuing receivables worth IDR 3 Billion from a defaulting distributor.
Won a case for PT KBR Indonesia regarding a manpower dispute against foreign employees with claims worth USD 900,000.
